We had a fantastic experience with Glenny's Painting. We painted our entire kitchen, including all of our cabinets, and their work turned out amazing. They took care not to rush any step of the process to ensure that the finished result was perfect. The entire crew was extremely professional, arriving on time every day, letting us know what progress we could expect at each step, and taking extreme care to protect our countertops and floors and clean up at the end of each day. Carlos and his team did an excellent job painting our house. They were on time every day and quick. It amazes me how they can cut in around trim, baseboards, crown moulding and kitchen cabinets with nothing but a brush, and have lines so sharp, straight, and precise. Glenny’s painting did a phenomenal job on our new home. They came out to give us a quote on Monday, started painting Wednesday and were finished by Thursday. The painting looks beautiful, and they are detailed , efficient, and even recaulked our baseboards. Their prices are also very reasonable. We bought a home in South Charlotte that needed painting in February. The original owners were renting the home back from us until their kids got out of school for summer, so our realtor was nice enough to coordinate communication with the original owners and arrange visits with the different vendors we needed. Carlos Glenny (the owner of Glenny's painting) sent us an estimate through our realtor in early March based on the Zillow photos. However, Carlos warned our realtor that it would cost extra to remove the texture from the walls, so he wanted to go see the home in person before he quoted that part of the work. The estimate seemed reasonable and we figured that we could always choose not to do the texture removal if the price came in too high, so we agreed to move forward. Fast forward to the middle of May and Carlos is finally able to get in the home (granted, this was complicated as we had to coordinate with the original owners through our realtors). Without explanation, he sends us a revised estimate that is 23% higher on the original work plus another 21% to remove the texture! I was just expecting the quote for the texture, so I was shocked that he raised the price on everything! When I questioned this, he told me that the original estimate was very rough and that he couldn't tell from the photos that there were multiple rooms to prime, almost the whole house has crown molding, and that some of the ceilings will need two coats of paint. I pointed out to him that you can see the crown molding in all the pictures and that it was clear to me, as a novice, from the pictures that most of the rooms would have to be heavily primed as they had darker colors and custom finishes. I ask if he can honor the original estimate and he tells me he can't as he won't be able to make a profit. Over the course of several conversations, another visit to the house, and another week, we continue to discuss it. At this point, it's only about 10 days until he was going to begin work, so it's difficult, if not impossible, to get anybody else in there to get another estimate before we move in, so we're in a bind. It's obvious that he's not going to honor the original estimate, so I suck it up and offer to meet him halfway but he won't budge. He tells me that everyone knows that painting estimates are rough and that it's not like the other trades where they can do an accurate esimate based on online photos. So why did he give one? He keeps adding more reasons why he needed to raise the price, telling me the doors are peeling so he needs to sand them (you weren't going to sand the doors!?!?) and my favorite was that it was going to cost more because we're having the floors refinished, so he's going to have to be extra careful when covering them (you're not normally careful with the floors?). We ended up not using Glenny's and we're going to have to find another painter after we move all of our stuff in. I had to laugh when I read the motto on their website "Customer satisfaction over profit is a motto we live by every day." We originally chose Glenny's because of all of the 5 star reviews, but our experience was much different.
Glenny’s painting did a great job painting my 2-story great room and foyer as well as hallway to 3rd floor. Highly recommend. They were careful to cover floors and furniture well. Clean up was just as good as they were thorough, making sure to get any paint specks/splatter cleaned off wood floor etc. only took a day and a half and they applied 3 coats as it needed it. Will definitely use them again.

All around fantastic job. They were on time, finished sooner than expected, and most importantly did a phenomenal job painting the entirety of our home (walls, trim, ceilings, and doors). We will likely have more jobs in the future for painting and will not hesitate to reach out to Glenny’s Painting again.

The entire experience was really terrific. They came out to view the property the day after I called, were able to set a date less than a week later (over the holidays, no less), and came out and did a terrific and fast job. With a crew of six, they were done in a single day, and the job looks great. I comparison-shopped around before hiring them, and the price quote was right in line with what others quoted … but it was done terrifically and quickly, and the interactions with staff were always most professional. Very pleased with them.

We used Glenny’s to renovate our entire home. Carlos and team did major drywall repair and installation, painted the entire interior of our home, painted our cabinets and vanities and banister, painted and rehabbed our fireplaces and power washed and painted our entire garage. I can’t say enough good things about Glenny’s. Every part of the project was fantastic. Carlos gives reasonable and fast quotes and does TERRIFIC and high quality work. He does not skimp on anything and does beautiful work. Carlos is super responsive and easy to work with. Carlos even had drywall done on a Sunday to help us meet another deadline. Looking forward to lime washing our exterior with Glenny’s next!
I really wish I could give them 10 stars. They are truly outstanding. Totally professional. I had my kitchen cabinets painted. My friends and family. Thought I had new cabinets installed. That’s how perfect they look. Additionally, I had a good portion of the inside of my house painted. This was all done at the same time. Within a week, my house was totally transformed. It looks so beautiful. They promptly came on time every morning. The pricing was more than reasonable, for the work that was done. Carlos and his crew went above board, to make sure I was totally satisfied. I was extremely impressed, when Carlos did a final walk through. He made sure everything was done as promised. I would highly recommend this Glenny’s for all your paintings needs.
Love the work Glenny's did for us. Carlos was a good communicator and let me know when he would be there and when he was running behind. He submitted professional quotes in a timely manner and I found their pricing very competitive. They painted essentially the whole interior of our home excluding bathrooms and we are very happy with their work. They completed everything in about 2 days and addressed any touch up areas immediately and to our complete satisfaction. Will have them back to paint our cabinets when we're ready!

When doing my research to hire a painter I came across Glennys Painting. I was surprised with how many 5 stars they had with no bad reviews. I thought it was too good to be true but after working with them the last 2 days it couldn’t be more true. From start to finish the crew was amazing and I’m extremely happy with the results. Not only did they do a great job they knocked it out in under 2 days. They also were the cheapest estimate I got. I cannot recommend them enough.

Best painting company in Charlotte. They came in half the price of everyone else for a huge 2 week painting job. Including wooden inbuilts, cabinets, all walls and ceilings. My house is unrecognizable. They did a really beautiful job, the team was on time and worked hard all day. Glennys went out of their way to assist us including introducing us to a great carpenter who did our hardware and hinges for an excellent price to great quality.

Pictures don’t do the job justice but Glenny’s did an awesome job for a great price, I would highly recommend them. They were on time, very respectful, answered anytime I called with a question, cleaned up after the job great, and their paint job was very precise! Last minute they worked in allowing my electrician to come in and do some work before they finished painting as well. My realtor recommended them, I got other quotes but their pricing was very reasonable and I felt the most comfortable with them, very professional guys. They removed all the popcorn ceilings in the home, the chair rails, painted the doors, trim, and walls. Was a big job! They used Benjamin Moore paint as well at our request which I was happy about!
